The Evolution of Krystal Jannelle

Once upon a time, there was a girl who grew up on a farm. She loved the animals, and being outdoors. She could feel magick in the trees and in the feeling of dirt between her bare toes. She did not love farm chores, rules or any of the expectations that were placed on her.

As she grew up, things happened to her. She learned how to survive the sins of men, she lost her little brother in a tragic accident, and all of this changed her. She lost sight of her own magick and love for the world. She began to hide inside the box of expectations that are laid out for most of us who are socialized as a girl in this world. She met a boy, who was really a man, far too old for a 16 year old, but she married him, had his babies, and then suddenly came to her senses and left.

But we all know that what we don't heal, we repeat and so she did it again. Boy, wedding, babies.

​

And then again, the awakening. This time she was ready. She was in a better place. Stronger, more self aware, beginning to love herself, just a little, but very in tune with her magick.

She sat with her soul and listened, and her soul said to her, you need to be loved by a woman, (the truth she'd known her whole life, but was so afraid of). So she came out, fell in love with first herself, and then her wife.

This is my story beloved, and thank you for reading. This is why I do what I do. Because I know. Because I struggled, and I had to fight against everything and everyone I thought loved me in order to become the truest version of myself. And here I stand, now, madly in love with myself, wishing this for you, too.
