Welcome. I’m really glad you’re here.

I'm Krystal Jannelle (she/her).

I'm a somatic shadow work practitioner, author of Hot Mess Empress: Your Guide to Falling Madly in Love with Yourself, and creator of The Seven Shadows™.

I support women and gender-diverse people in exploring the patterns, conditioning and stories that have shaped who they learned to be, so they can finally meet who they actually are.

My work weaves somatic embodiment, nervous system awareness, shadow work, ritual and ancient wisdom with modern science. I specialize in the places where insight alone hasn't been enough, where your body still resists, the voice still shakes, and old patterns persist despite your best efforts.

For much of my life, I was searching for something I couldn’t name. An ache that lived in my body. A knowing that the life I was living didn’t quite fit. I’ve lived through profound trauma, two divorces, and the initiation of birthing and raising four humans. I know what it is to feel disconnected from yourself, to keep going out of obligation, and to lose touch with your own desire in the process.

The turning point didn’t come from a single breakthrough.
It came from choosing myself, again and again.

With nervous system healing, trauma integration, somatic embodiment, and ritual, I began to understand myself differently. I stopped settling. I stopped overriding my body’s wisdom. I learned how to live unapologetically, and became rooted in self-trust, self-respect, and devotion to what is true for me.

Being unapologetic didn’t mean becoming harder or louder. It meant becoming clearer. More grounded. More honest about my limits, my desires, and the life I was no longer willing to abandon, and it's changed everything.

Today, my work blends ancient wisdom and modern science, drawing from somatic psychology, nervous system education, parts work, Ayurveda, ritual, and trauma-informed coaching. I create grounded, potent spaces where your full self is welcome; the tender parts, the protective parts, the wild and wise parts, all held with care and discernment.

I'm also a queer woman, a wife, a mom of four, a witch, and a human who has spent plenty of her own life unlearning who she thought she was supposed to be.

I've lived a fucking life.

I was pregnant for the first time when I was barely 20 years old, and married shortly after to the man I'd started dating when I was 15.

I was divorced by 27. Married again by 33. Divorced again at 39.

I'm no stranger to burning my life down and starting over.

I've survived unspeakable trauma. I've made choices I wouldn't make today. I've stayed when I should have left, questioned myself when I knew the answer, and had to reckon with all the ways I'd learned to shape my life around who I thought I was supposed to be.

And I've also been given the gift of extraordinary love. Today, I share my life with my wife, in a relationship that has taught me so much about what can become possible when we stop trying to live according to someone else's rules.

My life isn't evidence that I've mastered any of this.

It's evidence that we are allowed to change.

To question.

To choose again.

To disappoint people.

To discover parts of ourselves we didn't know were there.

To burn some shit down when we need to.

And to keep becoming more honest about who the fuck we are.

That is what unapologetic means to me.

How I Hold This Work

This work is held with intention, ethics, and deep respect for the complexity of healing.

Accessibility matters here. I am committed to creating spaces that are as financially, physically, emotionally, and energetically accessible as possible within my capacity as a solo practitioner. Nervous system safety, trauma-informed pacing, and consent-based practices are foundational to how I work. If you have access needs or require accommodations, I welcome conversation and will meet your inquiry with respect, confidentiality, and care.

I also recognize that accessibility and inclusion are ongoing practices, not static ideals. I am committed to listening, learning, and adapting as part of my responsibility to the people I serve.

Integrity is central to my work. I honour my teachers and lineages, including Katie Silcox (The Shakti School), Layla Martin (VITA), and Rachael Maddox (Rebloom & Business Witchery), whose wisdom has deeply shaped my approach. I remain devoted to my own healing, mentorship, and continued education so that I may show up for my clients with clarity, humility, and accountability.

This is not a perfect space, but it is one rooted in respect, presence, and care.
